Educational Goal: Inform and update participants about Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy and Postherpetic Neuralgia.

Educational Objectives: At the completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe the prevalence and risk of painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and postherpetic neuralgia (PHN)
  2. Describe neuropathic pain symptoms in patients with painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy and postherpetic neuralgia
  3. Describe current treatment options for painful DPN and PHN.
