Educational Goal: Inform participants on systemic antifungal medications.

Educational Objectives: At the completion of this program, participants should be able to:

  1. Describe optimal use of systemic antifungals in fungal infections
  2. Explain the strengths and weaknesses of each class of currently available systemic antifungals.
  3. Review optimal uses of systemic antifungals from the standpoint of available data, efficacy outcomes, and cost to the healthcare system.

The Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education. This program, 156-999-05-102-L01 provides 1 contact hour of continuing pharmaceutical education. To receive a Statement of Attendance, a program evaluation form must be completed and turned in at the end of the program.
