  2. Describe current and new pharmaceutical products for treating diabetes mellitus
  3. Discuss current clinical studies assessing pharmaceutical interventions for diabetes mellitus
  4. Describe the effects on clinical outcomes of tighter glycemic control as evidenced by HbA1C monitoring
