upcoming Texas legislative session
Educational Objectives:
- Discuss recent legislative and
regulatory changes impacting the practice of pharmacy in
Texas;
- Understand the legislative and
regulatory process for the State of Texas relative to
pharmacy and healthcare;
- Recognize the importance of becoming
involved in the legislative and political process; and
- Differentiate between federal and
state legislation, regulation and the role of
governmental agencies.

This meeting is open to all AASHP members, CAPA members, and the
Texas pharmacy community (pharmacists, technicians, students,
instructors, researchers, representatives, etc.). The cost
of CE for TSHP members and CAPA members will be covered. For
AASHP members that are not TSHP members, a $10 fee will be
charged for a CE statement. |

The Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists is
accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy
Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy
education. This program,
156-999-05-085-L03 provides 1.0 contact
hours (0.10 CEU(s)) of continuing pharmaceutical
education. To receive a Statement of Participation,
a program evaluation form must be completed and
turned in at the end of the program. A $10
processing fee must be paid by non-TSHP or
non-CAPA/TPA members to receive a Statement of
Attendance from TSHP.
