Educational Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to

  1. Identify goals of immunosuppressive therapy in solid organ transplant 
  2. Understand common side effects of immunosuppressive therapy
  3. Discuss appropriate pharmacotherapy monitoring parameters for transplant patients

Target audience: pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
The Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.  This program (156-999-08-136-L01-P) provides 1.0 contact hour (0.10 CEUs) of continuing pharmaceutical education.  To receive a Statement of Participation, a program evaluation form must be completed and turned in at the end of the program.
