Educational Objectives:
At the completion of this program, the participant will be able to:
- Discuss recent state and federal legislative and regulatory changes impacting hospital
pharmacy practice;
- Explain pending changes in regulations under consideration by the Texas State Board of
Pharmacy;
- Analyze professional practice trends, such as disaster preparedness, post-graduate pharmacy
education and training and continuing professional development and how they may impact
practice in the future.
- Appreciate what pharmacy organizations are doing to impact and modify the legislative,
regulatory and professional practice trends now occurring.
