AASHP Pharmacist Volunteers Needed in August for Volunteer Clinic

As we do every August and January, AASHP is providing pharmacy services for the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic.

The months have flown by and it is time again to consider volunteering for Tuesdays and Thursdays in August. In these hard economic times, it is important that we continue to support the community.

Please consider giving back to the community in a meaningful way. The following shifts are needed:

• AASHP staffs the Volunteer Healthcare Clinic two months out of the year - January and August.

• A very competent and bilingual pharmacy technician provides data entry and counseling assistance. If you know a pharmacy student that would like to attend with you, it is a wonderful learning experience for them.

• Clinic hours are from 7 pm until 10pm. It is advisable to arrive 10-15 minutes before 7 pm so the clinic staff is assured that a pharmacist will be there.
