Amanda (Mandy) Brown - AASHP Immediate Past President (2023-2024)

Mandy Brown graduated with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the College of Pharmacy at the University of Texas at Austin in 2007. She completed a PGY-1 residency in hospital pharmacy at Scott and White Hospital in 2008 and received her Board Certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist. Mandy then worked as a part of the critical care and cardiology teams at both Scott and White Hospital in Temple and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas before re-locating back to Austin in 2012. Since then, she has worked for Hunter Pharmacy Services, first as the Clinical Specialist and a staff pharmacist before being promoted to Director of Remote Services in 2015. She became the Senior Vice President of Clinical and Remote Services for the company in 2020. She is active in her local Austin chapter of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, serving as President in 2022. In her downtime, Mandy like to ride her bicycle around town, listens to live music, and spends time with her husband, friends, and dogs.
