Kotomi Schroeder - AASHP Pharmacy Student At-Large (2026-2027)
Kotomi Schroeder is a P2 at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, along with a Certificate in Spanish for Medical Professionals, from The University of Texas in 2025. Since 2024, Kotomi has served as a Certified Pharmacy Technician/Intern at Tarrytown Pharmacy, where she provides patient-centered care to individuals within the Austin community. Following completion of her PharmD, she plans to pursue Postgraduate Year One (PGY1) and Postgraduate Year Two (PGY2) residencies in critical care, with the goal of delivering high-quality, equitable care to diverse patient populations.
As Pharmacy Student-at-Large, Kotomi is committed to strengthening collaboration between the Austin Area Society of Health-System Pharmacists (AASHP) and the University of Texas at Austin Student Society of Health-System Pharmacists (UT-SSHP). Through her involvement in UT-SSHP, she has cultivated strong leadership skills, engaged with pharmacy professionals across varied practice settings, and actively advocated for student education and mentorship. In this role, she aims to enhance communication between students and practitioners while expanding access to professional development opportunities and resources that empower students to excel in health-system pharmacy. Outside of her academic and professional commitments, Kotomi enjoys reading and maintaining an active lifestyle through swimming and strength training.
