April Hinds - AASHP Secretary/Treasurer (2024-2025)
April Hinds graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with her doctor of pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest in Fayetteville, Arkansas and completed a specialty PGY2 in ambulatory care at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy/CommUnityCare. She serves as the clinical pharmacy manager at CommUnityCare in Austin, Texas. She also serves as the ambulatory care regional experiential coordinator for Austin/Temple/Waco at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy. She provides chronic disease state management in collaboration with internal medicine, family medicine, and endocrinology departments at CommUnityCare. April is an outdoor enthusiast and can often be found cycling around Austin or travelling to the mountains for backpacking or skiing adventures.
